He has worked for 35 years in all facets of the mining industry, including mining operation and drilling and blasting. He was employed by Orica for 26 years where, after working through the ranks, he became the Global Chief Mining Engineer, the position he held for nine years. He remains interested in the areas of improving digging, delivering cost down projects and coal recovery.
It is important to note that as a professional mining engineer his goal is to ensure that he works as a part of a team with all suppliers to deliver the best outcome for the client.
Matt is a mining engineer with 30+ years of commercial, operational, & technical experience supplying mining operations. He has a sound understanding of the mining value stream and commercial challenges associated with drilling and blasting.
Matt is a business partner at Minnco, and works in affiliation with MOS to deliver a better bottom line for client companies.
Brian has more than 30 years’ experience in coal and metals operations across Australia and Indonesia in many different mining environments. Brian has worked as a consultant for 9 of the last 12 years.
MOS has an arrangement with Blasting Geomechanics Pty Ltd to use the contracted services of Dr Dane Blair who is a blasting geophysicist with over 40 years of experience in blasting, vibration, overpressure, and the response of rock masses to dynamic loads. His approach is measurement, analytical and numerical modelling, and control.
Ross is a mining engineer with 30+ experience across Mining, Explosives, Contractors and Mining & Industrial Services; Ross delivers new products, systems and BI programs within the challenging and change-resistant Mining and Industrial environments.
Nick is a mining engineer, having worked for over 50 years in all facets of mining operations, drilling & blasting, demolition, quarries and constructions. Nick is a respected authority in training engineers, many of whom are now well-established in the industry.

Paul is an internationally recognised professional in the explosive industry. With over 50 years experience, he offers a wide range of services including design, licencing and operations to ensure the safe and efficient manufacture, storage and transport of explosives and associated chemicals; ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements. Paul works in affiliation with MOS to deliver these services.
Gary is director of QMR Blasting Analysis, an independent provider of products, software and testing services for the mining industry. He was previously the principal research scientist at CSIRO.
Brian is senior global logistics professional with proven 30+ years’ experience in highly sensitive dangerous goods (including Explosives and Ammonium Nitrate). He brings a sound understanding of the regulatory framework applicable to all modes of hazardous goods transport in relation to the IMDG, IMSBC, ADGC & IATA Codes including best practice in Hazardous Goods Storage and UN Packaging Standards across 30+ countries. He is an Associate Fellow of the Nautical Institute London, Member of the Expert Panel – SAFEX, Senior Member ITIC, Advisor – Guidepoint, Advisory Council Member GLG.
Sedat is a mining engineer with post-graduate qualifications in rock blasting. He has over 25 years of experience in the mining industry and has worked in a range of open-cut metalliferous, quarry, and coal mines throughout Australia and overseas. He has published over 40 technical papers in various international conferences and journals. Sedat specialises across Mine-to-Mill projects.
Andrew is a mechanical engineer with over 30 years of experience in design and innovation across a broad range of industries, including mining, explosives, rail and ship loading. He has been involved with the design and construction of complex machines, failure investigations, simulation and modeling.
Andrew is a business partner at Minnco, working in affiliation with MOS.
Bikash Choudhury is a manufacturer, producer and supplier of specialist products. He sources and manufacturers specialist products for the mining industry.
Bikash is the local representative of MOS Group, based in Lucknow, India.
