Tapan Goswami
Tapan is a mining engineer with post graduate qualifications in surface mining. He is an internationally recognised authority on blasting, having written over 25 publications. He has worked for 35 years in all facets of the mining industry, including mining operation and drilling and blasting. He was employed by Orica for 26 years where, after working through the ranks, he became the Global Chief Mining Engineer, the position he held for nine years. He remains interested in the areas of improving digging, delivering cost down projects and coal recovery.
It is important to note that as a professional mining engineer his goal is to ensure that he works as a part of a team with all suppliers to deliver the best outcome for the client.
